Andy (Andrea) hates that her parents have divorced and now live in two different houses. Instead of having one home, she feels like she lives out of a suitcase, constantly moving between her dad’s new family and her mom’s new family.
As she tries to adjust to step-siblings, new houses, and the feeling that she doesn’t belong anywhere, Andy escapes into daydreams about Mulberry Cottage, the home where she used to live when her parents were together.
The story follows Andy’s emotional journey as she tries to find where she truly fits in, discovering that family can be complicated — but love and acceptance can still grow in unexpected places.
